BBYO

Committed to its staff development and growth, BBYO is proud to offer the Professional Development Institute (PDI) for individuals seeking to grow professionally, academically and spiritually. This three-year program, funded through a generous grant by the Jim Joseph Foundation, provides participants the opportunity to earn an MBA, with a focus on not-for-profit management, while gaining valuable work experience and Judaic knowledge that enables them to become future leaders in the Jewish Community.

Through PDI, participants will receive their MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University—ranked as one of the top 25 business schools in the country—through its distance learning program. Working with colleagues and students from major international corporations in a high-level MBA program allows our professionals the unique opportunity to earn a master’s degree in a stimulating academic environment, free of charge, while immediately applying newly learned skills to their jobs.

PDI will also include a formal Jewish learning component. While working with leading Jewish educators in North America and Israel, PDI participants will not only strengthen their own Judaic knowledge—they will also learn how to pass that knowledge on to the teens with whom they work. And PDI’s strong mentoring program, designed to match participants with seasoned Jewish professionals across the country, allows access to knowledge reaching far beyond the classroom.

BBYO is seeking dedicated, driven and enthusiastic candidates committed to the organization’s mission of “more Jewish teens, more meaningful Jewish experiences” as well as to personal growth. Applicants must be prepared to fulfill the requirements of both a demanding job and rigorous academic coursework. Some travel will be a mandatory part of this program, including at least one trip to Israel. However, all travel costs will be covered by BBYO, Inc.
